Click on the FILE menu at the top of your Outlook client, choose “Tools”, then “Clean Up Old Items”.
At the top of the “Archive” window, choose “Archive this folder and all subfolders:”, then choose which folder(s) you would like to archive. It can be your inbox, sent items, or specific folders.
Choose a date to “archive items older than:”.
Under “Archive file:”, you can change the name of the archive by going to the end of path name and changing the name of the .PST file. Example: C:\Users\LastNameFirstInitial\OneDrive - Mitutoyo America Corp\Documents\Outlook Files\archive1.pst “archive.pst” to “Inbox prior to 7-04-23” to give it a more meaningful name.
When finished, click OK. You will see a message in the lower right corner of your Outlook client showing the archiving progress. Depending on how many emails you select to archive, the process can take up to 1-2 hours to complete.
