System Restore Instructions

Quick System Restore Point Guide

It is sometimes necessary to roll your computer back to the state that it was in multiple days, weeks, or even months ago to resolve some issues. This is a guide to roll your computer back in the event of issues.

Press the Windows key and search: “system restore” and open the app “Create a restore point”

 

Select “System Restore…”

Click Next >

You are now presented with a list of all possible restore points available. Check off “Show more restore points” to view every restore point.
Before Proceeding: If you aren’t sure what restore point to pick, contact IT staff with a screenshot of your restore point list to find out which restore point to choose.
 

Pick a restore point in the above window and click Next >
 

After picking a restore point, the window below should appear. Click Finish to initiate the restore point process
Your computer will restart after clicking Finish
