How to: Add authenticator for MFA and add devices to use Authenticator.
Log in using your PC to the following link:
My Sign-Ins | Security Info | Microsoft.com
Go to security info and then Click on the Add sign-in method.
Select Microsoft Authenticator
Follow the prompts and then make sure the Authenticator App is installed on the mobile device.
Follow prompts and select Next.
The screen with the QR code should follow.
Open the authenticator App on your Mobile Device. Click in the “+” icon
On the mobile App, select Work or school account
Now select scan QR code and point the app at the screen on the PC displaying the code.
Once Scanned, you can click ”Next” on the PC screen on with the qr code. The new device should appear in the Authentication methods both on the PC and the Authenticator App.
