National Instruments Software BSOD

PROBLEM

National Instruments software can cause issues with a computer blue screening or calling BitLocker to repair the system.

Solution

If a user has this software installed, then a setting in the BIOS needs to be turned off.

STEPS

Press F2 while computer is starting up to get into the BIOS.

Under Virtualization Support turn off the setting VT for Direct I/O.

*Note that you will have to turn off Trusted Execution first, if it is enabled. 

Restart the computer and the issue should be resolved. If not, turn off Virtualization.
